Alloy Steel Bars
Alloy Steel contains substantial quantities of elements other than carbon such as nickel, chromium, silicon, manganese, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium and limited amounts of other commonly accepted elements such as manganese, sulfur, silicon, and phosphorous.
Addition of such alloying elements is usually for the purpose to increase hardness, strength or chemical resistance, bars made of alloy steel have exceptional performance properties.
These are generally developed for energy-related applications involving oil and gas drilling and are subjected to stresses in machine parts

Unit Length | 3 m, 6 m, 9 m, 12 m, 18 m |
Forged metals tend to be harder, stronger and more durable than cast forms or machined parts. The reason why is simple: pressure alone forms the steel into the right shape, and the metal’s response to such overwhelming force tends to align the grain. That means you get more cogent internal structure and a far greater ability to withstand warping and wearing.
Forged Bar Shapes
There are actually four general variations of a forged bar which include: round bars, square bars, flat bars and hex bars. All Metals has the forging capabilities to produce bars from the following alloy types:

Duplex stainless steels are extremely corrosion resistant, work hardenable alloys. Duplex stainless steel plate contains relatively high levels of chromium (between 18% and 28%) and low to moderate amounts of nickel (between 1.5% and 8%). The high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties of duplex stainless steels can be attributed to their chemical composition and balanced (duplex) microstructure of approximately equal volume percentages of ferrite and austenite. Because of this duplex nature, it will display properties characteristic of both austenitic and ferritic stainless sheets of steel. Duplex stainless steels are in most cases, tougher than ferritic stainless steels. Strengths of duplex stainless steels can in some cases be double that for austenitic stainless steels.
Due to their high strength and corrosion resistance properties, Duplex Stainless Steels are used in a variety of applications such as:Duplex Usage in Desalination Plants | Grades referenced include Duplex 2205, LDX 2101, and Duplex 2304, SAF 2507 | |
Duplex Usage in Oil and Gas Industry | Grades referenced include Duplex 2205, SAF 2906, 3207HD, Super Duplex 2507, LDX 2101, L2003. |
