Alloy Steel Fittings

Duplex Pipe Fittings are the widely chosen fittings, used in critical conditions of industries. Widely demanded in the industries of oil & gas, petrochemical, and many others, these fittings are designed with the assurance of dimensional accuracy, resistance against corrosion and high tolerance capacity. Designed in the options of threaded and socket weld end connections, the pipe fittings have either buttweld, seamless or welded construction. These have the ability to bear a wide range of pressure level with excellent inertness to toxic chemicals. Best suited for highly critical applications where leakage can be hazardous, the pipe fittings are used in boilers, desalination plants and brewing tanks. Nickel Alloy Forged Fittings are manufactured from materials consisting of forgings, bar, SMLS tubular products which shall conform to the requirement for WP SMLS manufacturing materials of ASTM Fitting specifications A 234, A 403, A 420, A 815, B 366 or ASTM forging specifications A 105, A 182, A 350, B 283, B 462, B 564

1. Socket welding

· Size frequently limited to NPS ≤ 4” in following classes

· Not used in severe cyclic conditions and in services where corrosion is accelerated in the crevices.No weld metal can enter Bore

· Easier alignment of smaller lines than Butt weld fittings

· Tacking procedure is not necessary, therefore reducing welding time. No chance of leakage

2. Threaded

· Non-toxic, Environment-friendly and cost-effective as no welding is involved.

· Chances of leakage are comparatively higher, generally not used where leaks cannot be tolerated.

· Size frequently limited to NPS ≤ 4” in the following class

· Used in services where regular maintenance is required.

· All fittings are threaded both internal(Female) and external(Male) with American National Standard Pipe Threads ASME B1.20.1 (NPT) or British Standard Pipe Threads (BSP)

Typical Application

Instrumentation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Pressure

Working pressure up to 2000 PSI with a 4:1 safety factor depending on tube size.

When using plastic tubing, use the working pressure for the type used.

Vibration

Fair resistance - use long nut when greater vibration resistance is needed.

Temperature Range

-65^oF to +250^oF (-53^oC to +121^oC) range at maximum operating pressures.

•Assembly Instructions

1- Cut tubing to the desired length.

2- Slide nut and then sleeve on the tube. Threaded end “A” of nut must face toward fitting.

3- Insert tubing into a fitting body. Be sure tubing is bottomed on a fitting shoulder.

4- Lubricate threads and assemble nut to fitting body.

5- Tighten nut hand tight. From that point, tighten with a wrench the number of turns indicated in the chart below.
